Glossary
A single-tenant deployment that runs inside your own cloud account or datacenter, so software runs within your trust boundary instead of a vendor's multi-tenant service.
A private cloud is compute dedicated to one organization, whether in its own datacenter or, in the bring-your-own-cloud (BYOC) model, inside its own AWS, Azure, or GCP account. The workload runs in your VPC, under your identity and access management, and behind your own network controls.
For a governance layer that sees every prompt, retrieval, and tool call, private-cloud deployment is what keeps the most sensitive traffic inside your perimeter. The vendor ships the software; you own the environment it runs in, hold the keys, and never route governed data through someone else's cloud.
